TECHNIQUE FOR GEOPHYSICAL PROSPECTING Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: regional and search and prospecting geological operations. SUBSTANCE: gravitational and magnetometric prospecting are conducted in addition to seismic and electric prospecting on combined profiles. Data are processed and interpreted in complex in single coordinate system ( x, to ). For this coordinated seismic and electric prospecting model is constructed at the beginning and unified seismoelectric complexes stratigraphically correlated are highlighted in it. Distribution diagram of excessive densities and magnetization over depth of examined section which are converted in coordinate system (x, to ) is plotted. Physico-geological model of examined section correlated in wave, electromagnetic, gravitational and magnetic fields is constructed. Unified geophysical complexes stratigraphically correlated in which limits key parameters of medium such as interval velocities (V_int), longitudinal electric resistance (ρl), density (σ), magnetization (γ) are exposed in model. Lithological composition of deposits and oil-and gas-bearing capacity of investigated section is predicted by obtained data. EFFECT: increased informativeness, authenticity and reliability of geophysical operations. 1 dwg
