FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: according to method, swab is lowered into well by pulling member. Sealing member of well head gland during lowering of swab is clamped to surface of pulling member without force. At start of swab lowering, created in space of pipe string above swab is surplus pressure of neutral gas. Value of this pressure is maintained up to start of swab lifting. Lowering of swab is performed at speed which exceeds possible speed of swab moving in liquid. When swab enters liquid, its moving speed is reduced. Moment when swab enters liquid is determined at well head by oscillation of pulling member and loosening of its tension. After swab is lowered below level of liquid to optimal value, lifting of swab is started. At this moment, maintaining of surplus pressure of neutral gas is discontinued. Lifted liquid is branched out to collecting system. Sealing member of gland is clamped to surface of pulling member by force which prevents outcome of liquid through gland. Aforesaid method of well swabbing gives higher productivity, more safety, and less material input. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
