FIELD: staged feedwater and/or delivery water heating. SUBSTANCE: plant has central round compartment and annular compartments around it all accommodated in common casing; compartments hold heater sections with tube banks carrying water to be heated which are passed through steam spaces connected to steam extraction lines of turbine. In addition, at least one of compartments is divided by partitions into isolated spaces wherein there are still other separate heater sections. All sections may be connected in tandem to pass one kind of water being heated. As an alternative, some sections may be interconnected to pass one kind of water being heated and other sections, to pass other kind of water. EFFECT: provision for selecting most convenient and reasonable combination of sections for different heat cycles. 5 cl, 1 dwg
