FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: end seal has chamber 9 of sealing steam getting from dearest and steam suction chamber 10 installed before end labyrinth seal and precluding entrance of atmospheric air, both chambers are arranged between labyrinth sections. Additional steam suction chamber 8 is installed after front labyrinth section. This chamber provides delivery of steam into low-pressure device of turbine plant, in particular, in to low-pressure heater. Such design of end seal reduces to minimum penetration of sealing steam into blading of steam turbine low-pressure cylinder and prevents harmful action of moisture liberated from steam onto working blades of last stage of low-pressure cylinder.
