FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines operating on artificial gas mixture. SUBSTANCE: peculiarity of proposed method is that engine exhaust gas flow is divided into two regulated parts one of which, after preliminarily controlled watering, is directed in turbulent flow parallel to surface of pressed preformed absorber, is cleaned from hard particles and drop moisture and is delivered for mixing with second part of exhaust gas flow. Artificial gas mixture, thus formed, is cooled to 60 - 80 C in cooler-separator with simultaneous removal of drop moisture and then is delivered into internal combustion engine. Proposed design precludes rise of aerodynamic drag and provides quantity control of concentration of O2 and CO2 when processing exhaust gases in one reaction zone (apparatus) without mechanical transportation of solid absorber. EFFECT: increased reliability, stability and controllability of CO2 absorption and O2 release in artificial gas mixture. 1 dwg
