AIR SUPPLY SYSTEM OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

Abstract RU 2136944 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems of supply and oxygen enrichment of air delivered into internal combustion engines. System can be used also in different branch of industry where separation of oxygen and nitrogen of air is required for further enrichment of used air with nitrogen or oxygen. Proposed system has housing with converging and diverging parts. Air blower is installed before diverging part. Set of magnetically soft rings with fitted-on ring magnet is installed on converging part. Electromagnetic coils can be used instead of magnet and placed between rings. Electromagnetic coils are connected in series and in turn to ac source forming travelling magnetic field. EFFECT: reduced smoke content and toxicity of exhaust gases. 3 cl, 1 dwg
