FIELD: equipment for attaching end of metal belt to actuating member of machine, particularly, to well pump stem and for fastening two ends of metal belt. SUBSTANCE: device has clamp of closed square profile and sleeve positioned within clamp and made in the form of truncated four-faced pyramid with through opening for directing central rod of variable section, i.e. round section within sleeve and square section of cantilevered part. Cantilevered part is provided with longitudinal recess and threaded openings. Metal belt curved in longitudinal direction is attached to longitudinal recess and openings. Metal belt has shape conforming to that of lower portion of central rod cantilevered part. Central rod has widened end with reduced thickness. End of preliminarily bent metal belt in the form of angled member with equal strips is secured within square profile on surfaces inclined to axis. EFFECT: increased strength, prolonged service life and enhanced reliability in operation. 5 dwg
