FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to removing asphaltresinparaffin depositions in pump-compressor pipes of wells which are provided with long-stroke pumping units having belt-type pulling member. Self-propelled scraper which performs reciprocating motions is made in the form of body having two cylindrical blades. Located in upper and lower parts of body are detents with spring-biased devices which are mounted on switching levers. Detents are adapted for sliding along pulling member or along pump-compressor pipes respectively at one or other direction of scraper movement. Application of aforesaid embodiment of self-propelled scraper ensures cleaning of pump-compressor pipes and belt-type pulling member from depositions along their entire length.
