FIELD: oil production. SUBSTANCE: method involves selecting informative parameter characteristic of pump operation; determining pump optimum mode and controlling technical state of pumping unit, with vibration level in gas column of well mouth being used as informative parameter; selecting pressure differential values for measuring vibration level in well cavity outside tube; converting selected pressure differential values into symmetrical antipodal ac signals; providing interference filtering; amplifying, with in-phase signals and electromagnetic phone noise being suppressed; registering on primary document and decoding it. Phone noise is suppressed by rejecting fundamental harmonic at mains frequency. Method further involves successively measuring vibration level during regulation of electric engine power and pump pressure; determining its minimum value and setting working mode of pump on the basis of this value. Measuring and registration are performed at fixed value of signal amplification coefficient. Current control is performed on the basis of changes in vibration level relative to preset minimum level. Method allows connecting units of pump-compressor pipes to be prevented from unpressurizing, and attachment units to be prevented from releasing.
