FIELD: pipe-line transport. SUBSTANCE: gear sampling gas and liquid mixture from operating underground pipe-lines has body positioned on shut-off valve installed in tap of pipe-line, cylinder with intake hole and piston with rod linked to drive installed in hole and sampling tube. Tube is located in space of cylinder under piston spring-loaded relative to bottom. Lower end of sampling tube is installed in intake hole of cylinder. Cylinder is mounted for axial movement in spaces of body, shut-off valve, tap of pipe-line and section of pipe-line. Bottom of cylinder has drain hole where plug is put. Rod is manufactured in the form of column of rods with radial holes in upper part of each rod to place lock in one of them and in radial hole. Gear provides for sampling of gas and liquid mixture from bottom of underground pipe-line, eliminates necessity in construction of special inspection pits and fixtures near underground pipe-lines thanks to possibility of extension of column of rods, excludes egress of gas to atmosphere when liquid fills circular space of cylinder.
