FIELD: agriculture, in particular, handling of round bales of fodder. SUBSTANCE: gripping device has flat frame with brackets for suspending gripping tools. Each gripping tool has hollow shaft, bracket and two levers with arced teeth on their ends. Bracket and levers are attached to shaft. Profile of teeth corresponds to arc of circle equal to quarter of length of circle circumscribed from gripping tool center of revolution. Such parameters of gripping tool provide reliable holding of load in vertical and horizontal positions of tools. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified construction. 2 cl, 3 dwg
