FIELD: medicine, in particular, cosmetic medicine in traumatology and orthopedics, applicable in determination of the strength of adhesion of bones by determining the value of micromobility of traction wires under load in external fixation apparatus. SUBSTANCE: the device has threaded rods installed with one end on a pair of traction wires of the upper support of the external fixation apparatus and respective pair of traction wires of the lower one. Attached to the free end of the threaded rod is a device for determining the value of displacement of the traction wires, its end-piece is engageable with the platform attached to the free end of the treaded rod. For measuring the value of micromobility of the traction wires the patient applies the full load to the extremity, at the moment of load the traction wires get displaced, which is registered by the instrument. According to the value of micromobility, the time of completion of the process of bone regeneration, and the optimum time of apparatus removal are determined.
