METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH DAMAGES AND CONSEQUENCES OF DAMAGE TO THE ACETABULUM Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61B17/56

Abstract RU 2644713 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to traumatology and orthopedics and may be applicable to the treatment of patients with injuries and the consequences of acetabular injuries. Two-stage operative treatment is carried out. At the first stage, a computed tomography of the pelvis is performed, location of the bone fragments is determined from the photographs, reposition of bone fragments is performed, transosseous osteosynthesis of bone fragments with an apparatus of external fixation is performed, cross-knitting wires are entered in the femur, they are fixed on the femoral support of the external fixation apparatus, wires are entered through the pelvic bone and bone fragments and fixed on the pelvic support of the external fixation apparatus, pelvic and femoral supports of the external fixation apparatus are connected, the external fixation apparatus unloads the hip joint, the external fixation apparatus is removed after a strong fusion of bone fragments. At the second stage, a computer tomography of the hip joint is performed, the presence of signs of acetabular damages in the form of deforming coxarthrosis, and/or heterotopic ossification, and/or heterotopic ossification, and/or incorrectly fused fracture of the acetabulum is determined, the presence of a clinically pronounced pain syndrome is determined, a decrease in the function of the hip joint is determined, total hip replacement is performed.

EFFECT: method allows to reduce the risk of instability of the endoprosthesis.
