SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring angle between tooth wall and direct line running in parallel to vertical directrix on display screen coinciding with supposed tooth axis with indentation for setting crown prosthesis taken into account. Potential tooth axis direction is determined by comparing X-ray pictures, Hildebrandt tables, display image and diagnostic models application results. Device has observation unit having microcamera in casing and objective, video-adapter and computer. The observation unit is connected to additional adapter and additionally has illumination unit having ring-shaped graded holder with ring-shaped photodiode instrument panel light.
