FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for application in prosthetic dentistry to form the impression material base layer before impression material correcting layer application using the "sandwich" technique of two-layer print removal. The device for impression material base layer formation contains a round wheel mounted on an axle with a possibility of rotation, and a bracket connected to the handle. The round wheel has a width corresponding to the average size of the patient's teeth, the wheel rim has an oval shape with the possibility to form a groove along the entire dentition length, and the wheel axle is set in the holder.
EFFECT: invention prevents the correcting mass from premature squeezing from the impression tray, loosely filling the voids and accurately displaying the recorded underlying tissues.
