FIELD: medicine, infectious diseases. SUBSTANCE: method involves administration of realdiron at acute period of disease in combination with infusion, hormonal and antibacterial therapy. Realdiron is administrated by the following schedule: 2 times per 24 h at interval for 12 h as inhalations at the dose 250 000-500 000 IU per a single inhalation and once per 24 h at the dose 500 000-1 000 000 IU by intramuscular route and depending on the age. Course of treatment with realdiron is 4-6 days. Method ensures to enhance cellular immunity, protect body from cytopathogenic effect of diphtheria microbe and decrease possibility of complications.
