FIELD: medical equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has movable base, casing mounted on base and equipped with grid for receiving medical instruments. Germicidal lamp is positioned in upper part of casing. Flat cover is positioned for moving along guides mounted under lamp in casing, which is adapted for cutting off ultraviolet radiation of germicidal lamp, when it is in open position. Germicide lamp malfunction indicator is disposed on face panel in upper part of casing. EFFECT: simplified construction, mobility, convenient operation, provision for prolonged storage of medical instruments under sterile condition and safe manipulation of apparatus by personnel. 2 cl, 4 dwg
