FIELD: cold plastic metal working, applicable in dies for working of strip and band metals. SUBSTANCE: the die for working of band or strip with a centering assembly works metal of an equal width. The die has a pack of working parts installed on the lower and upper plates. The upper plate carries holders with eccentrically located holders for accommodation of centering catches in them, providing for changing the distance between the centering catches by turning the holders about their axes. The frame linking the centering catches is made of four separate strips with oval holes for connection to the centering catches, providing for changing its dimensions in plan, depending on the position of the centering catches.
