FIELD: shipbuilding; cargo vessels. SUBSTANCE: vessel has wedge-shaped carrying hull, engines arranged in aft engine compartment closed with hatch closure at the top, wheelhouse combined with galley and WC, guard of cargo deck and ramp in fore portion of vessel. Wedge-shaped form of hull and construction of wheelhouse ensure reduction of mass and possibility of gliding with cargo on board. Construction of hull is simplified due to use of mainly flat structural members. EFFECT: facilitated cargo handling procedure due to reduced height of ramp axis owing to wedge-shaped form of hull. 5 cl, 2 dwg
