CONCENTRATE OF WATER-EMULSION LUBRICATING FLUID FOR MECHANICAL CONVERSION OF METALS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: metalworking. SUBSTANCE: concentrate contains 5-8 wt % of emulsifier, 15-23 wt % of product of heat treatment of vegetable oil with diethanolamine at their weight ratio 0.9:(0.8-1.1), and mineral oil - the balance. Concentrate may additionally contain 1-3 wt % of pentaerythritol ester of synthetic fatty C₅-C₉-acids. Anticorrosion property of such concentrate is 1.5-4-fold superior to that of known products. Wear resistance of tools increases by a factor of 1.2-1.4 with improved quality of their surfaces. Consumption of lubricating oil based on new concentrate is 1.5-2 times reduced.
