FIELD: medicine, microbiology, gastroenterology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to diagnosis of disbacteriosis in human intestine since the content of living cells of lactic acid microbes in feces is an important index of intestine microbiocenosis. Amount of viable cells is determined on the solid nutrient medium based on nonalcoholized beer wort of the definite concentration. Medium is enriched with lactose, trace elements mixture, yeast extract and sodium acetate. Also, medium has finely ground natural chalk as a source of carbon dioxide to make anaerobiosis conditions. Also, chalk acts as an indicator for isolation of colonies of lactic acid microbes by clearing zone around their among other anaerobic microorganisms on solid medium. Invention ensures to determine the content of these microorganisms in feces at precision up to hundred and ten thousand cells (0.1-0.001 lg) for 2-3 days without use of special anaerobic equipment. Method is available for any laboratory. EFFECT: high precision and safety of method. 4 cl, 1 tbl
