FIELD: medicine, in particular, gynecology. SUBSTANCE: method includes hemostasis of pregnant women in the first trimester of pregnancy. Proceeding from information data of hemostatiograms (thrombine time, fibrinogen), discriminant functions D₁ and D₂ are determined by special formulas. When D₁ <0 and D₂ <-0.3, development of postpartum hemorrhage is prognosticated; with D₁ > 0 and D₂ <-0.3 development of prepathologic hemorrhage is prognosticated, and when D₁ <0 and D₂ > -0.3, pathologic hemorrhage is prognosticated. EFFECT: accurate and timely prognostication.
