FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to gas-lift operation without using any compressor. According to method, delivered into oil well is gas supplied from high-pressure source via gas line which is provided with device for regulation of gas flow rate. Measured is flow rate of supplied gas and output of recovered fluid at various gas flow rate. Recorded periodically is dependence between gas flow rate and output of recovered fluid with determining optimal operating mode of gas-lift well within working range of gas flow rate. Used as source of gas is gas well itself. Additionally measured is temperature of gas in gas line. Temperature of internal surface of gas line is maintained at level which is higher than temperature of hydrate-formation for any of gas well component within working range of gas parameters. Gas temperature before gas flow rate regulating device is maintained at level of T ≥ (T1+Δt), where T1 - maximal temperature of hydrate-formation for component of gas well medium, Δt - differential of gas temperature at gas flow rate regulating device. Device is one of versions for realization of aforesaid method in which preset parameters of temperatures of gas lifted from well in gas line are automatically maintained by means of heater under control of microprocessor device. Application of aforesaid method and device allows for utilization of gas from gas well with automatic operation of gas-lift system without using any compressor in severe extreme northern climatic conditions.
