FIELD: processing of solid waste containing organic matter to generate heat and electricity. SUBSTANCE: technological power plant for thermal processing of solid waste includes drier, pyrolysis chamber and gas generator. It is combined with steam and gas plant incorporating gas-turbine unit with combustion chamber and gas turbine, steam-turbine set with waste-heat boiler and steam turbine and lines to supply natural gas to pyrolysis chamber, gas generator and combustion chamber. Air heater is installed in gas conduit of waste-heat boiler and combustion chamber of gas-turbine unit and gas generator are fitted with devices that supply them with hot air. In addition technological power plant can include line to supply pyrolysis gas to drier, pyrolysis furnace, gas generator and combustion chamber. Hot air can be supplied to gas generator from air heater of waste-heat boiler or from autonomous steam or fire air heaters.
