FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: housing of generator-adsorber is provided with longitudinal fins. Arranged in housing are perforated tubes connected to coolant line, cylindrical spring and tab-shaped moving vertical plates with pointed spring-loaded end surface and pointed spring-loaded bead in central portion. Adsorbent poured between plates is held in place by means of pointed notches. Plates are pressed by spring fitted in that portion of apparatus which is free of adsorbent. Inner fins of housing may be provided with passages for removal of heat of adsorption by heat-transfer agent. EFFECT: increased refrigerating capacity of machine. 3 cl, 5 dwg
