FIELD: gas drying and purification.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to absorbers for carrying out a cyclic absorption-desorption process of gas drying and its purification from impurities. A distinctive feature of the absorber is that it has a gas flow distributor at the bottom, on which a support cylinder is fixed coaxially to the body, where the inner cylinder of the absorption basket is installed on top. In the mounting grooves of the inner cylinder, additional inner cylinders are fixed, coupled with additional lower solid plates in the form of a disk, coupled by an outer circle with additional outer cylinders, forming the outer walls of additional absorption baskets, made removable, installed sequentially one on top of the other and fixed in the mounting grooves of the inner cylinders. The inner cylinder of the upper basket is fixed in the lid of the absorber by means of a supporting structure, holes for gas outlet are made in the walls of the lower part of the inner cylinders. Between the body and the outer cylinders of the absorption baskets there is a gap for the gas flow, each absorption basket has a metal mesh bottom rigidly fixed on the walls of the respective outer and inner cylinders above a solid plate.
