FIELD: indication equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to indication equipment using vacuum luminescent indicators with directly heated cathodes. Process controlling vacuum luminescent indicators includes supply of voltage to controlling electrodes ( grids and anodes coated with luminophor ), feed of filament voltage to cathodes by pulses from D C power supply source in time intervals of interruption of current to anodes, information display in time intervals between filament pulses. In this case both cathode leads have close or equal potentials. Device controlling vacuum luminescent indicators has commutators of voltages of controlling electrodes which controlling leads are connected to unit of controlling signals and feeding leads - to source of D C power supply voltage of positive and negative polarity which have common point. Cathodes of indicators are connected in series circuit. Device is inserted with filament key which controlling lead is connected to unit of controlling signals. First lead of filament key is connected to first cathode lead of first indicator and second lead of filament key is linked to positive D C power supply source, second lead of last indicator is connected to common point of power supply sources. EFFECT: increased comfort of information reading from vacuum luminescent indicators by way of decrease of nonuniformity of luminophor glow of anode over length of cathodes. 4 cl, 1 dwg
