FIELD: liquid catalysts. SUBSTANCE: method is distinguished by that iridium compound is brought into contact with hydroiodic acid or its precursor or mixture of these compounds in liquid phase at HI/Ir molar ratio 1 to 20 in presence of solvent at total pressure 1 to 10 bar and temperature not exceeding boiling temperature of solvent utilized under contact conditions.
