FIELD: production of protection pattern by means of electronics aids intended for printing on securities, in particular, on bank-notes and paper money. SUBSTANCE: a grid of parallel lines is produced by means of a computer with a preset relation of width and distance between successively arranged lines. The width and distance between lines is successively modulated in such a way that their relation would be equal to the preset one. Then, by choice, one can transform straight lines into lines of some other shape, or influence the line width for reproduction of geometric or artistic images. Due do it, it becomes possible to produce patterns' forming watered effects at their numerical coding. EFFECT: prevented forgery of securities. 10 cl, 17 dwg
