FIELD: organometallic compounds. SUBSTANCE: new organometallic complexes of lanthanoids with well defined stoichiometry are provided to be used in stereospecific polymerization of unsaturated monomers. They are characterized by general formula ME_I(OR)₃•(ME_IR¹R²R³)_x, wherein ME denotes metal with atomic number between 57 and 71; OR alkoxy group; ME_I aluminum; R¹,R²,R³ are linear or branched C₁-C₁₀-alkyls; and x = 3 or 4 depending on type of alcoholate involved.
