FIELD: paper-and-pulp industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus contains starting material-supply pipe located over conical part of casing, treated material- discharge pipe located under conical bottom, and distribution chamber for introducing circulation liquid and vapor-liquid mixture consisting of conical and cylindrical parts and disposed in conical bottom and treated material-discharge pipe in parallel to side walls and in spatial relation with them. Side surface of distribution chamber bears vapor-liquid stream stabilization means constructed in the form of metal tape helically oriented with inclination to horizontal plane at 1 to 25 deg. Ratio of gap between walls of distribution chamber and walls of conical bottom and pipe to diameter of cylindrical part of casing is equal to (2.0-4.0) 10^-3. Metal spiral tape is made in the form of multiple-thread screw with pitch equal to 0.03-0.05 diameter of cylindrical part of casing.
