FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method power from shaft of free turbine is transmitted to shaft of electric generator through shaft line connected by splined coupling with free turbine shaft and rigidly connected with shaft of electric generator. Axial shift of shaft line from end face of free turbine shaft when it is stopped and at cooling of shaft line is used for accumulation of energy providing axial shift of shaft line into initial position at subsequent cutting in of turbine to provide thrusting of splined coupling connecting shaft line with free turbine shaft against end face step of free turbine shaft. Return of shaft line in initial position and accumulation of energy is provided by means of pressure device. The latter has bushing with flange one end of which is secured inside free turbine shaft. Flange engages with shaft end face. External ring is secured on outer end of bushing. Internal ring is installed for axial displacement with thrusting against splined coupling. Pre-compressed flexible member is installed between external and internal rings. EFFECT: compensation for thermal displacement of shaft line. 8 cl, 1 dwg
