FIELD: power engineering; gas-turbine power units. SUBSTANCE: shafting designed to transmit power from power turbine to generator has shaft coupled on one end to power turbine rotor and on other, to generator rotor. Shaft is disposed inside space surrounded by hot gases flowing from power turbine into atmosphere. Shafting is provided with internal and external courses disposed in same space coaxially to shaft which form together external annular duct and internal annular cavity between shaft and internal course. External annular duct and internal annular cavity are interconnected at butt end facing power turbine. External annular duct is joined through receiver to cooling air source. Internal annular cavity communicates with atmosphere. External course is fixed on one side to power turbine casing and on other, to receiver which is hinged to rear wall of gas collector.
