FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: transducer has current divider built up of several parallel-connected conductors of which one carries wound core connected to inputs of measuring signal processing circuit, its outputs functioning as transducer data signal outputs. Transducer has at least two of above-mentioned parallel- connected conductors passed separately through holes of second magnetically soft core so that magnetic fluxes induced in mentioned second core by two portions of current being measured flowing in two respective conductors are opposing and compensating each other. Generator of linearly varying periodic current incorporated in transducer builds up linearly varying magnetic field in first magnetic core which is superposed on magnetic field excited by part of measured current and reverses its polarity from one saturation state to other and vice versa. Reversing polarity of first core induces voltage pulses in its winding; prior to do so, these pulses are passed through high-voltage filter and arrive at input of threshold device with hysteresis transfer characteristic; duration-to-space ratio of pulse train built up across output of the latter is just the information signal of transducer.
