FIELD: antenna equipment. SUBSTANCE: method involves generation of beam pattern of antenna unit and its control using microprocessor device, scanning of space about receiver, detection of all received programs in memory unit and displaying information about them onto indication board. User selects broadcasting program and uses control tool for sending command to microprocessor for generation of required connections in antenna unit, so that beam pattern to chosen transmitter is selected and reception is achieved. When direction to signal source alters, beam pattern follows it using tracing unit. Corresponding receiving device has meter, dm and cm antennas which are designed as thin disks which are covered by metal coating of antenna elements, including active and passive dipoles which are joined into circuits using switching equipment in order to define beam pattern in each time span. EFFECT: facilitated use due to program selection and keeping reception when receiver is located on mobile vehicle. 2 cl, 15 dwg, 3 tbl
