REGIONAL RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: radio communication. SUBSTANCE: proposed radio communication system having limited field of application includes capabilities of radio telephone, digital or computer communication, reception and transmission of video information. Given system is based on regional structural pattern of location of TV centers, repeaters, microtelecenters and usage of electromagnetic spectrum of subranges allocated for television. It provides for usage of extreme sections of television ( to the right and left of main spectrum of channel ) for duplex multichannel radio communication. Video communication is also possible in " free " channels. Peculiarity of this system lies in operation of antennas, receivers, transmitters, converters, electron commutators by sectors or directions which is ensured structurally in central, regional and subscribers' stations.
