FIELD: processes for plastic metal working, namely plastic deformation providing changed physical properties of metals. SUBSTANCE: method for deforming blanks in crossing vertical and horizontal ducts at pushing end of deformed blank in horizontal duct comprises step of intermediate end pushing of blank at starting deformation process. Additional end pushing is realized in stepped horizontal duct. Area of cross section of first portion of stepped horizontal duct joined with vertical duct is less than area of cross section of vertical duct by 5-15%. Area of cross section of second portion of horizontal duct is less than area of cross section of vertical duct at least by 0.5%. EFFECT: enhanced quality of blanks due to changing end pushing mechanism, enhanced technological effectiveness. 4 dwg
