APPARATUS FOR PLASTIC WORKING OF MATERIALS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: processes for plastic working of materials, particularly plastic deformation providing change of physical properties of metals. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes two die halves (lower and upper) having vertically and horizontally crossing ducts. Lower die half is rigidly fixed by gear wheel providing rotation of blank in horizontal duct. Vertical duct has inlet portion for placing soft material through which blank is subjected to punch action at high specific pressure but without breaking punch. Apparatus includes changeable washer arranged at outlet of horizontal duct and having inner opening whose size is less than that of outlet cross section of horizontal duct. Said washer allows to create through soft material push effort acting upon deformed blank and providing high degree of plastic deformations. EFFECT: improved design of apparatus allowing to enhance mechanical properties of blank material and quality of blank. 1 cl, 1 dwg
