FIELD: methods of production of thermally bonded fiber. SUBSTANCE: method includes extrusion of molten polymer through spinneret having, at least, one hole on its face. Molten polymer comes through spinneret hole to form filament. Then, filament solidifies to become fiber. Filament from molten polymer is treated at outlet of spinneret hole with electromagnetic radiation, with intensity of 1 x 10-4 to 100 W/sq.cm. In other version of method realization, molten polymer is extruded through holes on spinneret face to form many filaments from molten polymer which solidify to become thermally bonded fibers. Molten filaments are treated with electromagnetic radiation with intensity from 1 x 10-4 to 100 W/sq.cm. EFFECT: higher bonding strength of fibers in spinning. 8 cl, 1 dwg
