FIELD: nonwoven cloth containing microthreads, articles of short-term use and multilayer material made from this cloth. SUBSTANCE: bulk nonwoven cloth has SPANBOND microthreads; its volume density ranges from 0.01 to 0.0075 g/cu, cm and linear density of microthreads ranges from 0.1 to 1.0 dtex. Method includes molding continuous multicomponent conjugated threads made from high-viscous melts of ethylene polymer and propylene polymer which are so located that occupy some zones in cross section along length of conjugated filaments; ethylene polymer occupies at least part of peripheral surface along length of conjugated filaments. Molded conjugated filaments are cooled in such manner that they acquire latent ability for forming crimpiness; molded conjugated filaments are stretched for forming microthreads. Latent ability for crimpness makes conjugated filaments acquire crimped form which are for forming nonwoven cloth. Volume density of cloth is about 0.01 to 0.075 g/cu. cm and linear density of microthreads is about 0.1 to 1.5 dtex. Ehthylene polymer is homogeneous polymer or copolymer of ethylene and flowability of its melt is about 60 to 400 g/10 minutes as demonstrated during tests conducted in accordance with Standard ASTM D1238-90d. Conditions of tests are 190/2.16. Propylene polymer is homogeneous polymer or copolymer of propylene and flowability of its melt is about 50 to 800 g/10 minutes as demonstrated during tests conducted in accordance with Standard AST D1238-90B. Conditions of tests are 230/2.16. Article of short-term use and multilayer material includes bulk nonwoven cloth is made in accordance with the above- mentioned method. EFFECT: possibility of making bulk nonwoven of low density. 20 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 2 ex
