FIELD: polymer materials. SUBSTANCE: fiber consists of polypropylene with crystallinity at least 98% and nonoriented ethylene- propylene block copolymer with melting point below 160 C at polypropylene-to-block copolymer weight ratio about (50-95):(5-50). Fiber is manufactured by spinning from melt. Nonwoven material represents lap of thermoplastic polymer fibers, which is often used in the form of laminate. Application area: clothes, individual care objects, medicinal products, protective coatings, and out-door fabrics. EFFECT: improved strength characteristics of material to be comparable with those of conventional polypropylene fabrics and by 25% better softness. 16 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl, 6 ex
