FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: gear includes cantering and measurement units and post. The latter carries two interjoined carriages mounted for rotation of one of them about axis of post and movement along it. Centering unit is manufactured in the form of two mandrels each having pair of movable conical bushings and two pairs of prisms put on mandrels, each one being arranged in one common bisector plane and anchored on carriages. Measurement unit is fabricated in the form of measurement plate mounted on second carriage and indicator mounted on first carriage which measurement rod is meant for interaction with measurement plate. Bisector plane of prisms anchored on second carriage and axis of post are located in parallel to bisector plane of prisms anchored on first carriage. Second measurement unit is made in the form of additional measurement plate installed on second carriage in bisector plane of prisms anchored on this carriage and additional indicator mounted on first carriage whose measurement rod is meant for interaction with additional measurement plate.
