SUBSTANCE: apparatus has a base, a centring unit, an indicator with a measuring rod and a post with a supporting arm. The centring unit is in form of a locator mounted on the base, having a conical hole and a clamp mounted in the supporting arm with possibility of movement along the axis of the conical hole. The indicator is mounted on the locator and the measuring rod is inserted into the conical hole and lies coaxial to said hole.
EFFECT: enabling measurement of distance and symmetry of planes relative the centre of an outer sphere.
