FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: object to be measured is placed on installation plane. Main centering unit is put into one pair of holes in object and additional centering unit is placed into another pair of holes. Measurement gear is based with main basing prisms anchored on common bisector plane on main carriage with post by main centering unit and with additional basing prisms anchored on common bisector plane on additional carriage by additional centering unit. Main basing prisms with main carriage carrying main measurement plane are rotated about axis of main centering unit and moved along its axis. Additional basing prisms with additional carriage carrying additional measurement plane are rotated about axis of post and moved along this axis. Shortest distance between main and additional measurement planes is achieved. Distances between main and additional measurement planes as well as deviation of crossing angle between auxiliary planes made on main and additional carriages in their common bisector planes are measured. EFFECT: expanded technological capabilities thanks to measurement of both distance and crossing angle between crossing axes of holes. 2 dwg
