FIELD: mechanical engineering, testing equipment. SUBSTANCE: gear has case with tested gear wheel installed in it and loader. Adapter and loading member interacts with the latter. Gear is fitted with antifriction bushings for installation of tested gear wheel together with shaft having splines. Gear wheel is connected by means of slots and screw on shaft to flange-dog stopped by bearing strap on outer side of case. Spline joint can be perpendicular or parallel to axis of gear wheel. Straps to safe-guard gear wheel against turn is provided. Adapter is manufactured in the form of lever installed on axle in case and loading member is fabricated in the form of separable plate. During operation of gear loader is activated and both individual teeth and entire kinematic chain of article ( teeth-disc-hub-shaft-necks, etc ) are subjected to testing. EFFECT: determination of carrying capacity of gear wheel as whole and its separate parts with reconstruction of real loads. 2 dwg
