FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: process of manufacture of capacitor with double electric layer provides for electric contact between porous fibrous carbon material and metal case by way of welding of porous fibrous carbon material with plasma-sprayed layer of aluminum 200-250 μ thick to metal case. Welding is conducted by heating of porous fibrous carbon material with plasma- sprayed layer of aluminum in touch with metal case under mechanical compression not less than 0.2 kg/sq.cm in vacuum under pressure in chamber kept within range 10-3-10-1 Pa at temperature 670-690 C in the course of 5-7 min which will ensure welding of carbon material over entire area of touch, increased stability of internal resistance of capacitor with double electric layer and productivity of manufacturing process. EFFECT: reduced internal resistance of capacitor with double electric layer, enhanced stability of it and increased productivity of welding process. 3 dwg, 1 tbl
