FIELD: SHF equipment, design of equipment for radio communication, radiolocation, radio navigation, measurement technology, medicine. SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at remote control over switch with the aid of optical radiation and at modulation of SHF power with optical signal. SHF switch has two mutually orthogonal communication loops connected with one end to microstrip SHF transmission lines and with the other end to termination pad to ensure short-circuit of finishes of loops. Gyromagnetic resonator subject to action of magnetic field is located inside loops. Specific feature of switch lies in manufacture of gyromagnetic resonator from ferromagnetic material (CH3NH3)2CuCl4 that works under condition of nonlinear magnetic resonance. Switch is also fitted with source of pulse optical radiation controlling operation of gyromagnetic resonator.
