FIELD: veterinary medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves administering hydrocortisone injections at a dose of 0.1-0.02 mg/kg of body weight in cases of big animals and 0.2-0.3 mg/kg of body weight in cases of small animals or dexasone at a dose of 10-12 mg and 3-4 mg per injection, respectively. Injections are repeated each fourth-fifth day. Alcohol compresses containing 3% of ichthammol are applied beginning from the third - fourth day of the disease. 1% aqueous solution of ichthammol is intravenously injected at the same time at a dose of 1 ml per 10 kg of animal body weight at 48-72 h time intervals. The ultrasonic treatment is applied with 0.2-0.3 W/cm² intensity and exposure time of 1.5-2.0 min and at 830-880 kHz frequency. 5-7 procedures are applied in 1-2 days long pauses in the cases of acute aseptic inflammatory processes, beginning from the tenth-twelfth day of the disease. 8-10 procedures are required in the cases of chronic aseptic inflammatory processes beginning from the thirteenth-fifteenth day of the disease. Chymotrypsin in 0.5% novocaine solution is injected into injured zone after sucking exudate out in cases of chronic inflammatory processes at a dose of 10-20 mg to big animals and at a dose of 5-10 mg to small animals or hyaluronidase at a dose of 64-128 or 32-64 ED, respectively.
