FIELD: medicine, immunology. SUBSTANCE: invention provides vaccine compositions of attenuated respiratory-syncytial virus (RSV). Attenuated virus can be a derivative of RSV that was attenuated incompletely by cold passage or by insertions of mutations that make a temperature-sensitive virus (ts) or a phenotype adapted to cold (ca). Invention relates to also a method of stimulation of an immune system of individual for induction of the protection against respiratory-syncytial virus by administration of attenuated RSV. Invention provides also preparing pure cultures of attenuated RSV where this virus is attenuated more completely by the further derivatization (the further derivatives preparing) identified early as incompletely attenuated ts- and cp-mutants.
