MECHANISM FOR ADJUSTING PARALLELISM OF ROLLERS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: food industry, possibly flour milling plants. SUBSTANCE: mechanism for adjusting parallelism of rollers includes governor of unidimensional gap between rollers connecting at one side bolt with eye and at other side - spindle with eye. Spherical washers and lock nuts are secured to spindle for setting it relative to ball surface of movable lever of roller machine. Mechanism includes shock absorber in the form of spring placed in housing and secured to spindle by means of nuts. Governor of unidimensional gap between rollers is in the form of special nut with spherical bearing. Special nut has two flanges mutually joined by rigidity ribs. One flange has threaded opening for bolt with eye, other flange - through opening for passing spindle. The last rests by its bead upon spherical bearing mounted in turning of respective flange. Spindle is also provided with special nut engaging with turned surface of one spherical washer. Shock absorber is in the form of changeable unit. Spring is forced until predetermined state and it is fixed by means of washer and pins. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of adjustment and operational reliability of mechanism. 2 dwg
